If the specific issue you are experiencing is not listed in the Common Problems section of this website, or if you cannot fix the issue, we recommend the following:

  1. Be sure that you are using the most recent version of the ClariMate app for Windows or MacOS. You can update the ClariMate app by downloading the most recent version from the App store or from our website, clarimate.us

  1. Be sure that your ClariMate is fully charged by connecting it to a wall adapter with the supplied cable for at least four hours. After that, follow these instructions to turn the ClariMate on in Safe Mode:

  • Press and hold the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons

  • While holding down the buttons, press and release the Power button

  • Continue to hold down the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons until the yellow LED lights up

Once the ClariMate is turned on in safe mode, connect it via USB to the ClariMate app. In the app, select “Download and Update Firmware” from the Tools menu in the top right hand corner.

Once this is done, load the Factory Training Set by following these steps:

  1. Go to the “Note Training” tab

  2. Click or tap on the “Load/Save” button in the top right corner of the screen

  3. Select the Training Set labeled “Factory” from the list of Training Sets

  4. Click the “Load” button on the right hand side of the screen
