How does temperature affect the function of the ClariMate?

Just as extreme variances in temperature can affect the tuning on an acoustic instrument, extreme hot and cold temperatures can affect the note recognition on the ClariMate. For this reason, it’s recommended that the ClariMate is used at room temperature. If you need to play the ClariMate in an unusually cold or warm space, it is recommended to create a new Training Set for this scenario.

In warm scenarios, it is possible to compensate for this somewhat by pulling the barrel of the clarinet away from the body of the clarinet by a few millimeters.
