ClariMate Bluetooth Connection Guide

MacOS

  1. Turn on the ClariMate in Bluetooth mode by holding down the Bluetooth button while powering on the unit.

  2. On your computer, open System Preferences and go to Bluetooth

  3. Find ClariMate in the list of devices and click Connect. You may have to wait a moment for the ClariMate to show up in the list of devices, and you may have to scroll down to find it.

  4. Once the ClariMate is connected, open the ClariMate app and click on the Bluetooth button in the bottom left hand corner.

  5. In the pop-up window, double click on the ClariMate. The ClariMate should connect to the app within a few seconds

  6. In the future, you can connect directly from the ClariMate App by following steps 4 - 6


iOS

  1. Turn on the ClariMate in Bluetooth mode by holding down the Bluetooth button while powering on the unit

  2. In the iOS Settings application, go to the Bluetooth menu and select your ClariMate from the list of "other devices." Tap "pair" when prompted with a connection code

  3. Open the ClariMate app and tap “okay” on the prompt to open the Bluetooth accessory window

  4. Select your ClariMate from the list of devices. It may take up to 30 seconds to appear

  5. Tap “Pair” when prompted

  6. In the future, you can connect directly from the ClariMate App by following steps 3 - 5


Windows

  1. Turn on the ClariMate in Bluetooth mode by holding down the Bluetooth button while powering on the unit.

  2. On your computer, open the Settings app and click on Devices

  3. Click “Add Bluetooth or other device,” and select Bluetooth

  4. Select your ClariMate from the list of devices. It may take a moment to appear

  5. Open the ClariMate app, and click on the Bluetooth button in the bottom left hand corner

  6. Select your ClariMate from the list of devices

  7. In the future, you can connect directly from the ClariMate App by following steps 5 - 7


Android

  1. Turn on the ClariMate in Bluetooth mode by holding down the Bluetooth button while powering on the unit.

  2. Open the Settings app on your phone/tablet and tap “Connected devices”

  3. Tap “Pair new device,” and select your ClariMate from the list of available devices

  4. Open the ClariMate app, and select your ClariMate from the popup list

  5. In the future, you can connect directly from the ClariMate App by opening the app and tapping "Connect" when prompted


Troubleshooting

    

My ClariMate is not connecting to my device

  1. Turn off the ClariMate

  2. Delete the ClariMate from your computer/phone/tablet’s list of previously connected devices if it is listed there

  3. Turn Bluetooth off and on again on your device

  4. Turn the ClariMate on in Bluetooth mode

  5. Reconnect the ClariMate to your device via the Bluetooth settings of your device

  6. If the above does not work, try restarting your device


My ClariMate is connected to my device, but doesn’t show up in the app

  1. Turn off the ClariMate

  2. Delete the ClariMate from your computer/phone/tablet’s list of previously connected devices

  3. Turn Bluetooth off and on again on your device

  4. Turn the ClariMate on in Bluetooth mode

  5. Reconnect the ClariMate to your device via the Bluetooth settings of your device

  6. Restart the app

  7. If steps 1 through 6 don’t fix the issue, restart your computer/phone/tablet and try again

  8. If step 7 does not work, reinstall the app

  9. On Android, be sure that “Location permission” is enabled and “Use precise location” is on. This can be set in the “Apps & notifications” section of the Settings app on your device

  10. On Android, be sure that “Nearby devices permission” is enabled. This can be set in the “Apps & notifications” section of the Settings app on your device
